Job Description:
a. This candidate will provide Functional Safety Consulting to Startup Company , Powertrain, Chassis System.
b. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do approaches his o her work with vigor and determination.
c. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
d. Drive the development of functional safety system requirements and functional decomposition for specific functional domain
e. Actively contribute to the definition and/or confirmation of the system architecture of one or more functional in the vehicle (powertrain, chassis, etc..) from the prospective of the functional safety engineer
f. Define the functional safety concept for the relevant system, hardware and software according to ISO 26262 standards and/or IEC 61508standards
g. Work with cross-functional teams to develop the hazard analysis, safety concepts, and DFMEA for the relevant system/domain. Take ownership of these work products including their approvals
h. Support functional safety validation tests
Minimum Requirements:
a. BS minimum in an engineering discipline such as computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering
b. A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a functional safety engineer or related role.
c. Knowledge of vehicle embedded system and control functions.
d. Deep knowledge of automotive software development process and V-Model system development, verification and validation framework.
e. An intimate knowledge of ISO 26262 and experience developing and delivering the major work products of a functional safety tools, and requirements management tools
f. Excellent writing, verbal and organization skills

The candidate will be placed in a team of 4/5 people with firmware development tasks according to the project design, documentation preparation, bug-fixing.
Development experience for embedded applications (1-2 years).
Job Description:
a. The resource must have structured programming experience in C Embedded language
b. Experience in low level programming on microcontrollers (hw abstraction layer, peripheral configuration, use of laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, generator of functions).
c. They are preferential titles, knowledge of serial communication protocols: SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, experience in the use of versioning systems.
d. Complete the profile: good problem solving skills, organizational autonomy, planning skills, preparation for team work, management and drafting of documentation.

Automotive Project Engineer | OPEN | USA |
Role:
As a project engineer for the Body Structures Team, you will be responsible for validating the responsible Body Structure of Autonomous Vehicle Robot.
The candidate will be expected to work with external suppliers to develop test plans and validation schedules to the program timeline and spending forecast.
This will require working with the Body design engineers as well as third party testing houses, labs and proving grounds to support testing activity.
Job Responsabilities:
a. Manage external suppliers to ensure completion of critical testing to schedule and budget,
b. Work cross functionally with engineering teams to manage additional test part requests,
c. Work cross functionally with the vehicle test team to ensure critical sub system testing aligns withfull vehicle timeline,
d. Document test result against vehicle specs in Polarion,
e. Generate and maintain internal schedules for test activities,
f. Generate and maintain test status report to wider vehicle engineering team,
g. Identify any shortfalls in existing test plan that require action
Job Requirements:
a. 5 years experience in automotive or aerospace engineering environment, Body and Closures experiences is a plus
b. Graduate: degree in Mechanical Engineering
c. Project engineering or project management experience a must
d. Experience with technical documentation in at last one full life-cycle vehicle program to include DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report) and FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis).
